Pollys Rubery's fascinating website covering all aspects of the surnames Rowberry and Rubery and all their many variations.

Excellent website for all things Brooks/Brookes related. Information on Brooks families from all over the country.

The Friends of Hoar Oak Cottage - wonderful site recording the history of a remote Exmoor shepherd's cottage and the families that lived there.

The Clan Davidson Association - great site for anyone with Davidson connections.

Cyndi's List of Genealogy Sites on the Internet

Cyndi's List has possibly the most comprehensive index of sites for genealogical research on the Internet.

The Commonwealth War Graves Commission Site has a searchable database of those who gave their lives in the First and Second World Wars.

The FreeBMD project's aim is to give free Internet access to the registration indices for Births, Marriages and Deaths in England and Wales.

The FreeCen project's aim is to give free Internet access to an online database of the 19th century UK census returns.

The official Government source of genealogical data for Scotland.

Large collection of genealogical information pages for England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints extensive family history resource site.

The British Newspaper Archive - digitised images of hundreds of different newspapers.

Ancestry.co.uk - one of the biggest sites for records and family trees.
